Some Photos

I’ve recently taken up photography — mostly because I didn’t want to be completely clueless in one of the most beautiful places in the world with only a smartphone to capture the magic. So, I went and bought myself a small camera to start with: The OM-5 from OM Systems. This is a really compact, durable, and weatherproofed Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera designed for travel. It isn’t the most obvious camera I might have started out with (and I’m sure arguments can be made for starting out on crop or full frame sensor DSLRs); but as I don’t know what this year will hold, I wanted to buy something that could weather whatever I put it through. It’s already come in handy, as I don’t have to rush to put it away every time it rains… which is like every 15 minutes some days.
